# Generate On-Brand Live Polls for Any Organization Name

> Askplane applies a customer's logo and color palette to poll results when you enter their organization name: no theme editor needed.

Every other slide in your deck has the client's logo and colors. The two minutes they spend voting should look the same. Askplane applies an organization's logo and palette to poll results automatically: you type the org name once, and the branding follows.

## How it works

<Steps>
  <Step title="Enter the organization name on your event">
    When creating or editing an event in the admin dashboard, fill in the **Organization name** field with the name of the client or company you're presenting to.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Askplane retrieves their logo and palette">
    Askplane retrieves the organization's logo and color palette automatically when you save the event. You do not need to upload anything or configure a theme.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Poll results wear their brand">
    When you run polls during the session, the results slide uses the org's colors and logo: not the generic Askplane theme. Dark or light, matching the background of the deck you're already in.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Answer options use their language">
    AI-generated poll options use the org's real product names and terminology: not generic "Option A / Option B". The choices read like the meeting, not like a template.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Dark and light modes

Poll results adapt to dark and light deck backgrounds. If the slide you're on uses a dark background, the poll result card renders in dark mode. Light decks get a light card. This keeps results visually consistent with the rest of the presentation without any manual configuration.

## AI-generated poll options

When you set an organization name, Askplane can generate answer options for your polls using that org's product names and terminology. For example:

* Instead of generic choices like "Very satisfied / Satisfied / Neutral / Dissatisfied", options might read "Ready to expand / In steady state / Still evaluating / Needs support"
* Instead of "Option A / Option B / Option C", a quiz about their product might use the actual feature names people say in that room

Generated options work with the Choice, Quiz, and Rank poll types.

## Custom branding (Paid plan)

On the Paid plan, you can go further:

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Your colors" icon="palette">
    Set custom hex colors for your own organization: useful for agencies presenting under their own brand.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Remove the Askplane mark" icon="eye-slash">
    Remove the Askplane logo from poll result cards so results show only the client's branding.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Persistent brand settings" icon="bookmark">
    Save your brand configuration so it applies automatically to all new events without re-entering the org name each time.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Logo upload" icon="image">
    Upload a logo directly if the org's logo isn't found from the name alone: useful for smaller or internal organizations.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

<Note>
  Askplane retrieves the organization's logo and color palette automatically when you save the event: you do not need to upload anything or configure a theme. An internet connection is required at the time you save the event.
</Note>

<Tip>
  "If the rest of the hour looks like their organization, the two minutes they vote should too."
</Tip>

<Warning>
  Logo retrieval works best for well-known organizations with a public web presence. For smaller or internal organizations whose logo isn't found automatically, use the logo upload feature on the Paid plan.
